Presently, pets are not accommodated, though plans to change this are underway. Features include an AT Passport facility, lodging with bunkrooms, and H accommodation, capable of housing up to 14 guests. Kennedy Creek Resort

Accommodations include pet-friendly bunkhouses and a dormitory, priced at $40 per night with an additional $5 fee for cleaning, including laundry services. Cabins are also available for booking. Guests can enjoy dinner for a cost slightly below $20. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided.

The Hiker Hostel at Barefoot Hills Hotel

Located at an AT Passport spot, this venue offers single bunk lodging starting at $35 per night. It also features private rooms and cabins. Guests have the option to purchase lunch and dinner. Mountain Crossings

Situated at an AT Passport-approved site, this full-service outfitter provides a hostel with a bunkroom, priced at $20 per night. They offer gear shakedown services and long-term resupply options. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase by the ounce. Additionally, a charging station is available for guests' convenience.

The Green Dragon Hostel

NoBo Mile: 52.5

This location offers bunk beds along with amenities such as showers and laundry facilities. Guests can enjoy the added benefits of Wi-Fi access, and meals including breakfast and dinner. A range of snacks and supplies is also available for purchase. Complimentary shuttle services are provided to the grocery store, post office, and outfitter.

Hostel Around the Bend

NoBo Mile: 69.2

Located just a 0.6-mile downhill walk to the west of Dicks Creek Gap, this site offers pet-friendly private lodgings. Facilities include shared bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry services, and Wi-Fi access. Bunk reservations are welcome from 10 am on the day of arrival.

Chica & Sunsets Hostel

NoBo Mile: 109.4

This establishment does not accommodate pets. It's an AT Passport-designated location, operating from the middle of February to the middle of May. The cost is $55 per person, plus tax, payable exclusively via cash, Venmo, or PayPal. This rate includes pickup and dropoff from the trail, a shuttle to town, laundry facilities, a full -bathroom, kitchen, and living room for your use.

The Grove Hostel

NoBo Mile: 109.6

The hostel, owned by Ben "Unfiltered" and Mary "Newfound," offers a welcoming stay for travelers. Guests can check in from 12 PM to 7 PM and must check out by 10 AM. The accommodation fees are set at $45 plus tax for bunks and $80 plus tax for private rooms. A variety of payment options are available, including credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and cash. The hostel is equipped with a range of amenities for guest convenience, such as complimentary laundry services, showers, Wi-Fi access, a kitchen specifically designed for hikers, and a free shuttle service to assist guests in returning to the trail or going for resupply. It is also located within a short walking distance of Outdoor 76, Lazy Hiker Brewing Co., various dining options, and other downtown Franklin attractions. However, it is important to note that the hostel does not accept mail drops.

All In The Tramily Hiker Suite

Reservations are mandatory, with no provisions for walk-ins or drive-ups. The establishment is pet-friendly, catering specifically to well-behaved dogs. It prioritizes privacy and comfort by offering exclusive use of the entire suite to a single group per reservation. The pricing structure is $135 for groups of up to three hikers and $160 for groups of four, with all taxes included. Included in every stay are services and amenities such as transportation to and from Winding Stair Gap (mile 110) or Rock Gap (mile 106), shuttles for restocking and town visits within a 5-minute drive, premium mattresses, private bathrooms with showers, in-suite laundry facilities complete with loaner clothes, a continental breakfast, Wi-Fi access, a boot dryer, a covered clothesline for drying gear, and a deck that offers views of the Appalachian Trail. Additionally, slackpacking services are available, along with parking for guests. Payment can be made through cash or Venmo. This facility is exclusively for hikers. Nantahala Outdoor Center

"The Nantahala Outdoor Center, recognized as an AT Passport location, offers motel room accommodations. Its River’s End Restaurant caters to all meals, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can avail of gear shakedown services, and the facility also provides printing services for Smoky Mountain permits. Notably, the Appalachian Trail (AT) crosses right through the NOC, making it a convenient and popular stop for hikers.

Stecoah Wolf Creek Hostel

NoBo Mile: 150.5

The rate is set at $30 per individual, offering full beds, television, and kitchen access. Complimentary Wi-Fi is included. A resupply shuttle service is available after 5 pm on weekdays. For those requiring permits, a computer and printer are accessible. Additionally, free pick-up and drop-off services at Stecoah Gap are provided, along with a convenience store on the premises.

Cabin in the Woods

NoBo Mile: 150.5

The hike cabin is $30/hiker or, if you want to ensure privacy, $60 and it's all yours. Breakfast options are available. A small load of laundry is $5.00. Laundry requiring a large capacity washer/dryer is $10/load. The facility offers shuttle services for a fee, various breakfast choices, and laundry services. "We can house up to 3 in the cabin with a bunk bed and a full-size futon. Amenities include fresh linens and blankets, Wifi, satellite TV, a shower, toilet, sink, towels, dishes, coffeemaker, coffee, sugar, creamer, microwave, mini-fridge, and toaster oven.

Stecoah has a food truck called Cyndi Lou's that has limited hours - left onto 28 and about 3/4 mile on your left. Robbinsville has Dollar General, Family Dollar, Health Mart, Ingles Grocery, and Walgreens. There is a McDonald's, Wendy's, Papa's Pizza To Go, and several local restaurants."

The Hike Inn

NoBo Mile: 158.3

Operating from March through November, this hiker-exclusive motel and shuttle service has been under consistent management since 1993. It features a hostel atmosphere, offering private rooms with essential amenities and a $5 laundry service. Pricing for thru-hikers starts at $75 plus tax for one, dropping to $60 each for two in the same room, including laundry and a trip to Robbinsville for resupply. Section hiker rates are $70 for one or $80 for two, with a two-person room limit. A two-night stay enables free slackpacking across select gaps and free parking for section hikers. Guests also benefit from complimentary Smokies permit printing and mail drops. The facility advises calling ahead from November through February due to occasional closures.

The Discerning Hiker

NoBo Mile: 241.0

The cabin, priced at $50, accommodates up to 4 guests for a maximum of two nights. It comes equipped with a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and a shower. Options for hammocking are also available. The service includes a stop in town for resupply needs after either picking up or dropping off hikers at Davenport Gap. Shuttle services to and from Davenport Gap are included with the stay.

Standing Bear Farm

NoBo Mile: 241.5

Available throughout the year, this location offers bunk beds at $25 and tenting options at $15 per person. The Community Cabin is priced at $35, while the Tree-house or Creek-house can be rented for $75 per couple. A variety of resupply items are on offer, along with meals available for purchase and self-cooking. Fuel options include canister, Coleman, and alcohol fuels. Laundry facilities with hand washing and an electric dryer are available. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, shuttle services to various locations, and a kennel service including dog shuttles around the Smokies for $250. Parking facilities are also provided.

Happy Gnomads Hiker House

NoBo Mile: 268.3

Managed by experienced thru-hikers, Jumanji and Sunshine, this establishment offers bunk beds at $20 and private rooms for $50. Amenities include showers and laundry services, with loaner clothes available. Guests have access to a shared living room and kitchen, which are fully stocked with soda, beer, pizza, and snacks. For pickup arrangements, guests are advised to call from Garenflo Gap. The location is at 6130 NC-209, Hot Springs, NC 28743.

Hostel at Laughing Heart Lodge

NoBo Mile: 274.5

Welcoming pets and open all year, this location offers bunk beds at $30, single private rooms at $40, and double private rooms at $55, with linens included for private rooms. Tenting is available at $15 per person or $20 for two sharing a tent. Common amenities include a kitchen, morning coffee and tea, Wi-Fi, and showers with towels provided. Laundry services are available for $5, including soap. Additionally, lodge rooms might be available starting at $145, which includes a continental breakfast. Elmers Sunnybank Inn

Guests can reserve breakfast and dinner, featuring gourmet organic vegetarian meals. Appalachian Trail-er Bunkhouse

This facility features a bunkhouse accommodating up to 10 people, with rates ranging from $40 to $60 per person. While reservations are preferred, walk-ins are occasionally accepted, subject to availability. The establishment offers gear rentals and shuttle services, along with a carefully curated selection of ultralight gear.

Hemlock Hollow Inn

NoBo Mile: 291.2

Managed by owners Russ and Dianna Rosa, this establishment is closed for the winter from October 25th to March 25th. The bunkroom is priced at $27 per person with linens provided, or $22 without linens. For couples, cabins with linens are available at $60, with all rooms featuring heating. Tent sites are offered at $15 per person, with an additional pet fee of $5. Every stay includes access to showers, and non-guests can use the shower and towel for $5. The camp store is well-stocked with items for long-term resupply, including some gear, cold drinks, food, fruit, and stove fuels. Shuttle services are available upon inquiry. Parking is complimentary for guests, while non-guests are charged a fee. The facility accepts credit cards for payment.

Laurel Hostel

Operating throughout the year and welcoming pets, this facility offers bunk beds at $20, which includes the use of a shower. For those not staying overnight, a shower is available for $5. Additional amenities include laundry services and a selection of hiker-friendly food. Shuttle services are provided to Erwin, Sams Gap, and Spivey Gap.
